Deviating from the main A9 roadway which connects Kandy and Dambulla, one comes across a path surrounded by a lush natural forest leading to one of the most unique and secluded getaway spots in the serenity of rural Sri Lanka – Arika.

All the nine en suite bedrooms are spread across two floors and equipped with modern facilities. Choose either a ground floor room opening out to a private verandah overlooking the gardens or an upper floor room opening on to a private balcony with garden and river views.

We at Arika, offer the guests a concept of ‘dine at your time, your style’ with an array of gastronomical treats that guests can indulge in at their convenience. Taste the traditional Sri Lankan and international cuisine prepared with fresh meats, fish and vegetables some of which are from our own vegetable garden. Feel free to chat with the chef, who will prepare sumptuous dishes to suit your palate. Dine at the glass-walled multi-cuisine restaurant or in the privacy of your own balcony/verandah. Guests can choose from a range of dishes from our A-la-carte and In Room Dining menus.
Sport und Unterhaltung
Excursions can be organised for all the major attractions around Dambulla with some other activities such as Boat rides, Cycling, Hot air ballooning and more also available on request. Garden tours, Sri Lankan cusine experience session at the on-site Mud house are also some of the guests' loved activities. The guests can even reserve a time for the Night walk at the Popham's arboretum, Kandalama where it is quite easy to spot Grey slender loris and some other animal species. A collection of in-house games for kids is also available
