Hope Springs Eternal Bed and Breakfast was opened in June, 2016 and is the top- rated Bed and Breakfast in the area, for very good reasons. Location – Located a four-minute drive from the center of town (Hope, British Columbia), Hope Springs Eternal Bed and Breakfast is situated far away from the railroad, which is very loud in the town. Here, you can barely hear it. This Bed and Breakfast suite backs onto greenspace, where you may feed the boarded horses apples, as they are very friendly (and hungry). Comfort - Guests rave about the Queen Bed for good reason, as the mattress is top-quality. Guests have the use of a Library, a work station, Wi Fi, a quiet, peaceful environment and a seven-minute leisurely walk to a lovely Lake. Activities - There’s a veritable plethora of interesting things to do in the Hope area for one- night stays - and for those guests that stay two or three nights. There is gold-panning, fishing, hiking, Hot Springs and River Rafting to name a few activities in and around Hope, British Columbia. PLEASE NOTE - that a large number of one-night stay guests indicate to the host when they are checking out - that they wished they had stayed two nights. Hope is located 150 kilometers east of Vancouver and is a transportation hub to all places, so please strongly consider staying two nights if you are just arriving in Canada (or just getting ready to go back home). You will not regret it, I can assure you. Bigger and Better - Hope Springs Eternal Bed and Breakfast is comprised of the entire floor (93 square meters in a ground level suite), in a tasteful, newer suite. The owner is originally from Thailand and the hospitality industry, so expect superior, Thai-style service. Superior Food Offerings - Hope Springs Eternal Bed and Breakfast offers a Buffet-style, serve-yourself breakfast with the following: Four free-run eggs (cooked in the microwave two different ways – poached or fried - instructions provided), Number One Quality Ham, several types of Fruit (at least ten pieces), local and organic when possible. There are four types of cereal including sugar-salt-free varieties, organic oatmeal and baked goods, including 7 grain whole wheat bread, blueberry crumpets and bran muffins (with half the brown sugar used in the normal recipe), with normal condiments - butter, top-quality jam (from France), honey and peanut butter. In addition, there are 2 liters of skim milk provided (please let me know if you want whole milk, 1% or 2% instead), yogurt, one liter of apple juice, other soda drinks, Green Tea, English Tea, Coffee and Hot Chocolate. Very few (if any) guests eat everything offered and guests are free to take fruit, drinks or baked goods for the road.
