Infos Porteau Cove Provincial Park
Der 60 Hektar große "Porteau Cove Provincial Park" liegt -zwischen Vancouver und Sqamish- am Howe Sound, dem südlichsten Fjord von Nordamerika. An der felsigen Küste des Parks leben große Populationen von Fischen, Schalentieren und anderen Meerestieren, wodurch sie sich bei Tauchern einer großen Beliebtheit erfreut. Es wurden sogar zwei alte Schiffe versenkt, die Meereslebewesen anziehen sollen. Im Park gibt es Camingplätze sowie Möglichkeiten zum Picknicken, Schwimmen, Windsurfen und Bootfahren.
